We provide hosting powered by Red Hat Enterprise Linux & Apache, and located in one of The Planet's  secure Data Centres in Houston, Texas (the same city as NASA Mission Control).

The Planet operates six wholly owned and managed state-of-the-art data centers containing more than 40,000 servers with fully redundant Network Operations Center capabilities from two cities, and 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring.

Privacy:

We will retain your personal information for contact and billing purposes only.

We may publish an online list of clients, showing company/website information only.

Your personal information will be kept secure and will not be shared with anyone. The only exception is when required by law enforcement agencies (with due cause) - then it will be securely disclosed if deemed necessary.

Payments:

Basic hosting is currently $250 per year, paid annually (Canadian orders add GST). At this time there is no setup fee for basic hosting - this may change in the future. Basic Managed sites (we act as your webmaster) start at $500 per year - this is usually used in conjunction with a web design package.

Payments accepted directly or through PayPal which enables you to pay securely online using major credit cards, debit, e-cheque or directly from a PayPal account - in 5 major currencies. There is a small transaction fee (4%) added for this method.

All sites are hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux based Apache web servers.

Basic hosting includes 100 MB space, 5 GB bandwidth (monthly traffic), 5 POP email with web access included, email aliases, auto responders, majordomo list server, ftp, Front Page Extensions, CGI/Perl/PHP...

Extra features (more space/bandwidth, SSL, etc.) may require setup fees, as well as a small additional monthly cost. There are a number of "Power Tools" available including forum, photo gallery and more - please inquire.

We can provide you with site statistics (visitors, referrals, pages visited, etc.) using Google's Web Analytics as well as better inclusion in Google's listings with Sitemaps.

We can also help you set up a PayPal account to accept or send secure online payments in 5 major currencies using credit card, debit, or direct pay.

We will endeavour to provide superior service to all customers. This means the best quality in bandwidth, uptime, security and service. To this end our servers are housed in a secure Data Centre in Houston (Texas, USA) owned & operated by The Planet. This facility features the latest in redundancy, physical and fire security, as well as boasting 8 redundant backbone connections in four different cities.

Our servers run the Apache Web Server platform on the Linux operating system with interactive management software provided by Ensim.
